How to Use the
Thumbify Extension

Download and install the Thumbify Chrome extension from the Chrome Web Store or load it manually:

1. Download the extension ZIP file
2. Open Chrome and go to chrome://extensions/
3. Enable "Developer mode" in the top right corner
4. Click "Load unpacked" and select the unzipped extension folder
5. The Thumbify icon will appear in your browser toolbar

To sync your saved thumbnails and use AI generation features, you need to login:

1. Click the Thumbify icon in your browser toolbar
2. Click the "Login" button in the popup
3. You'll be redirected to the Thumbify website to login or create an account
4. After logging in, return to YouTube - your saved thumbnails will sync automatically

Saving thumbnails from YouTube is super easy:

1. Browse YouTube as usual (home page, search results, channel pages, etc.)
2. Hover over any video thumbnail
3. Click the ⭐ star button that appears on the thumbnail
4. The thumbnail is instantly saved to your collection!

Access your saved thumbnails anytime:

1. Click the Thumbify icon in your browser toolbar
2. Your saved thumbnails appear in the popup
3. Click a thumbnail to open the original YouTube video
4. Click the ✨ button to generate a new thumbnail with AI
5. Click the 🗑️ button to delete a thumbnail from your collection

For a larger view, click "Saved" in the quick actions to open the full collections page on the website.

Turn your saved thumbnails into AI-generated masterpieces:

1. From the popup, click the ✨ button on any saved thumbnail, or
2. Click "Generate with AI" button at the bottom
3. You'll be taken to the AI generation page on Thumbify
4. Choose a style, add prompts, and generate your thumbnail!
